Overview
Vivo’s latest entrant, the Vivo T4 Ultra, appears to be a solid mid-range premium challenger that aims to break the boundaries between affordable and flagship-featured devices. Vivo T4 Ultra is designed with a set of phenomenal specifications, positioning it to give a high-performing user experience. Vivo T4 Ultra’s display experience is based on its vast 6.67-inch (16.94 cm) quad-curved AMOLED screen. This panel boasts a sharp 1.5K resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels, providing a pixel density of 460 ppi for sharp and clear images. A silky smooth 120Hz refresh rate makes everything even smoother. It also boasts a high peak brightness of up to 5000 nits in local peak areas, as well as 1600 nits in High Brightness Mode (HBM). At the center is the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ 5G chip, a flagship-class 4nm octa-core processor. The primary camera is a 50 MP OIS-supporting Sony IMX921 sensor with an f/1.88 aperture, capable of capturing detailed and stable shots. It is joined by a 50 MP Sony IMX882 telephoto periscope lens with 3x optical zoom and an f/2.55 aperture. An 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture completes the back configuration. On the front, for selfies and video calling, there is a 32 MP camera with an f/2.45 aperture. The Vivo T4 Ultra gets a 5500mAh (Typical) Li-ion battery. One of the best features of the T4 Ultra is that it supports wired fast charging up to 90W, which is known as FlashCharge by Vivo. The Vivo T4 Ultra is shipped with Funtouch OS 15, based on Android 15, straight out of the box. When it comes to software updates, there seems to be some inconsistency. Some quote 3 years of Android OS updates and 4 years of security updates, while others, including some from Vivo’s official circles, suggest 2 OS updates and 3 years of security updates.
