Apple has launched the iPhone 17 series. The new series consists of four models – iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. Here is a new look at the iPhone 17 Pro Max, which is the flagship powerhouse of Apple’s 2025 lineup. The iPhone 17 Pro Max has a beautiful design and a 48MP triple camera. Design & Build
The iPhone 17 Pro Max has a brushed aerospace-grade aluminum unibody over the titanium body of the old device. The new body adds heat performance and lightness, and the Ceramic Shield 2 now extends to front and back — with 3x better scratch protection and 4x greater crack protection.
A robust new horizontal camera base is present on the rear with three big 48MP sensors. The device is available in Deep Blue, Cosmic Orange, and Silver colors.
Display & Body
Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max will have a 6.9-inch LTPO Super Retina XDR OLED HDR10 1320 x 2868 pixels resolution display. 120Hz Refresh Rate and 3000 nits (peak) Brightness. The display is protected by scratch-resistant ceramic glass and an oleophobic coating. Body Dimensions Height -163.4, Width-78, Thickness- 8.8. weighs 233 grams.
Performance
Powered by an A19 Pro chip, based on a 3nm process, the phone delivers 40% greater long-term performance than the iPhone 16 Pro Max. It comes with a 6-core CPU, 6-core GPU, and a 16-core Neural Engine, which offers console-quality gaming, real-time AI, and advanced multitasking.
Apple also introduced the N1 chip for improved wireless connectivity, including Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and Thread.

The iPhone 17 Pro Max starts at $1,199 (₹1,49,900 in India) for the 256GB variant, and has up to 2TB of storage. Pre-bookings started on September 12, and devices will be available from September 19.
